The Fight Against Evil is Real (Wake-Up Call)

Only the vision of the Word of God the Bible clearly defines evil in the human experience, it's operations, it's grand scheme, and how to arm yourself for it to defeat it. Amen! This is one on the list of attributes that the Bible holds alone the title on and no other text can even come near to it.
What is 'evil'?
To most people evil is only a result of bad decisions and people's thoughts. But how do these thoughts come into play? What and where is the source? Everyone is mostly preoccupied to even wonder about the answers to these questions, and that's another problem within itself; the system (this life) has been designed through the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12) to keep you distracted from  reality and looking in the wrong places. As soon as Eve gave Satan dominion in our realm his kind and his fallen comrades overpowered us in the spiritual field. This battle against all of us humans is what is 'evil' is within itself at the core. This is where all evil comes from, whether it is a small and tiny evil or a large evil. The act of something intelligently and deliberately aimed to cause harm or foul. Although, with the Word of God we can be sure to be prepared with all the knowledge needed to combat the evil in this world.
How do we know?
Take for instance, you become a fresh (new) believer in the Word of God and Jesus C., a new Christian, you will notice a series of random events that will start to take place, more often than before, that will one in one form or fashion try to stop you from either spending quality time studying the Scriptures or sharing it. You can ask many believers about these scenarios unfolding right in front of them including myself. This is a marker in your life, it's actually not bad altogether. God will let some things happen without harming you in the long run just to show you how close evil will be following you and looking for a chance to pierce your defense (your faith). Even seasoned and advanced faithful believers are tempted and do wrestle with evil frequently, and sometimes even every day.
Beware! Look out!
Beware! Satan (the adversary) and his forces, through the mainstream and operating on sin itself, are fooling many into believing that evil doesn't exist so that they can continue to be full open game. Satan, if you were to ask him would even tell you that he is a Christian himself in the form of an angel of light (James 2:192 Corinthians 11:14), just look at all the false preachers and "Messiahs" around that he has working for him. Note: you cannot see evil if you don't put on the armor against it and drop-down your spiritual vision over your eyes which the Word of God and the Holy Spirit only are able to give you. Another note: moreover, if you keep listening to Satan he will even tell you that he doesn't exist. Some atheists will argue to you that evil exists because "you create it" by believing in the Scriptures, but then you can ask them: how is it then that the Bible is able to create something real to begin with if it's "really just a well written group of fairy tales"? You don't just create situations by thinking about them, that's in the comic books sections for "Super Heroes." There are many ways to trip the atheist mindset on itself (btw), it's just another well advertised system of (desperate) beliefs to conform to the words of men in the name of carnal pleasures. Because with sin as our only guidance we'll just tend to believe in anything but the truth (because it's much easier to swallow). And yet another note: evil operates through all people around you through sin, sin is the stream that it travels within to plot against and upset anything that is ultimately good and godly in our hands. Anyone around you can instantly become a possible agent of evil.

EPHESIANS 6:11-12

11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

There's a full out war in every space of our world, if you don't learn about it you'll just be dragged innocently, which is the case for most people unfortunately. Read more about it in the Bible. It's one of the main climax themes of the Bible, the fight of Good and evil.

The Fake End

No one really knows the end of the world. The world elite, through the use of their controlled mainstream media (most of the mainstream on your TV), are going to try to use one of many scapegoats to do their Alien/end of the world little show to try to get people to welcome New Age mysticism and "enlightenment" as a replacement to their faith(s). Which the Bible explicitly warns about and it is another package of Luciferianism wrapped tightly to look appealing. We are in a time of many deceptions where the popularly advertised "truth" is many times just another branch or extension of the lie and well presented. They are out to deceive on YouTube, blogs, magazines, and the rest of the social media tools. Don't believe this blog itself unless you see that it directly quotes Bible material.

Many out and about don't see it, but it's a full scale war to preserve the truth and tell it against those out there that prefer to perish with Satan and/or are being deceived by him and his forces. Some of these individuals being deceived are, unfortunately as it has turned-out, powerful and influential in the decisions of present day human affairs. But this also fulfills Bible prophecy, so bear with it, and God is helping you through this too.

The Bible, the Holy Word of God entirely, also mentions that no one will be able to figure-out the time and date of the end:

Matthew 24:36-39 King James Version (KJV)
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mark 13:32-33 King James Version (KJV)

32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

They seem to be preparing and staging a a world-wide special effex scenario, and bootleg indeed, when Jesus C. comes down, whatever form he uses, there won't be the need for Hollywood special effex.

May the LORD of Hosts, who is watching us all, richly bless you!

Reality According to the Holy Scriptures

First: proof (from within the Bible itself in this case) that the Holy Scriptures are 'Holy' and of God /through the Holy Spirit...

  • Isaiah 8:20 King James Version (KJV) 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
  • Psalm 119:105 King James Version (KJV) 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
  • Proverbs 30:5-6 King James Version (KJV) 5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
  • John 17:17 King James Version (KJV) 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 13 For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.
  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 16 All Scripture is [a]inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
  • Hebrews 4:12 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
  • 2 Peter 1:20-21 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, 21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

Now, the main topic: Reality as we know it according to God Himself speaking to us in the scriptures...

  • Genesis 1:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
  • Ecclesiastes 12:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.
So, technically speaking we're really made of star stuff. All the basic minerals on Earth exist in the stars and other planets (Mars for example). In addition, many other minerals perhaps we don't have (or haven't discovered) here on Earth.
  • Genesis 1:3 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light...6 Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters...”
God created (spoke into existence)  all that we know as the universe(s) during the phase of His process of creation of 6 days. All that would ever form, develop, and transform, that would ever need to exist in within His plans for all that exist. All the atoms, minerals, to all the living organisms of our bodies, which are meaningless without the breath of life that contains our conscious. That's hard to imagine possible as it sounds.

Definition of REALITY - plural: re·al·i·ties
1: the quality or state of being real
2 a) (1) : a real event, entity, or state of affairs (2) : the totality of real things and events
b) : something that is neither derivative nor dependent but exists necessarily

Definition of EXISTENCE
1 a) obsolete : reality as opposed to appearance b): reality as presented in experience
c (1) : the totality of existent things (2) : a particular being d) : sentient or living being : life
2 a) : the state or fact of having being especially independently of human consciousness and as contrasted with nonexistence b) : the manner of being that is common to every mode of being c) : being with respect to a limiting condition or under a particular aspect

Definitions are from Merriam-Webster's dictionary.

What Happens After Death? (What does the Bible Tell Us?)

Do you really just live on as a "soul" (a "spirit")? What does God really say to us about death in the Bible? What does it say about "Psychic mediums" and "ghosts"?

You have probably heard by now about your "spirit" being eternal, that the "soul" lives on forever, even after you have read in the Bible that only those saved under Jesus Christ will bear the fruits of eternal life, but still there's a stew of universal eternal life of the "soul" being passed around in the mainstream (for centuries now). To add on that: the term 'reincarnation,' which has even infiltrated the Christian Church in some instances. As a serious believer of The Word of God (the Bible) and Jesus Christ who is our Savior you have gone on a deep journey for the truth, the truth is that you can systematically study the Bible and realize that it is 'The Word of God' by understanding it correctly. That there is no other Holy book that can come close the uniqueness of it. Okay, now lets see what the Bible says about death as a human being:

Matthew 10:28
New King James Version (NKJV)

28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Can the soul be destroyed here? (Yes) What does this verse say expanded altogether? Do not fear those who cannot kill the soul. Why? Because, who gives the soul and who can take it? God and God only (notice the CAPS H for 'Him'). So, fear God because he can judge the soul and destroy it in hell (the soul dies).

Ezekiel 18:20
New King James Version (NKJV)
20 The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

Can the soul be destroyed here? ('Dies,' ...Yes) Furthermore, the son cannot contain guilt (from sin), nor God. Those who are righteous bring themselves righteousness, those who are wicked wickedness.

John 5:28-29

New King James Version (NKJV)
28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

(The dead will be brought physically back to life, *graves here are literal, the spirit does not need a grave. Those who are good under Jesus Christ will be brought back to life to live, those who do evil will be brought back to life only to be condemned.)

Acts 2:29 and 34

New King James Version (NKJV)
29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

(King/prophet David is dead and buried, and his body is with us physically. He is dead in all aspects).

34 “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:
‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
(David did not go to Heaven, God told Jesus [only Him, and no one else] that he would sit at His right hand {prophecy fulfilled in resurrection}.)

Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, and 10

New King James Version (NKJV)
For the living know that they will die;
But the dead know nothing,
And they have no more reward,
For the memory of them is forgotten.
Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished;
Nevermore will they have a share
In anything done under the sun.
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

(We die and once dead we know nothing {no conscious}, no reward, and forgotten. Also their {sins} have died and will not partake in any activity under the sun as we know it.)

Psalm 115:17

New King James Version (NKJV)
17 The dead do not praise the Lord,
Nor any who go down into silence.

(The dead can't worship the LORD {all CAPS, meaning God}, nor any who are silenced in hell {go down into}.)

John 11:11-14
New King James Version (NKJV)
11 These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”
12 Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.” 13 However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.
14 Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead.

(Lazarus died in all definition of the word, then of course Jesus later resurrected him.)

So now that we've established that our whole existence is 'living' all at once and that the spirit also dies with the body when we die according to the scriptures, let's see what the Bible says about anything else out there in the mainstream ("ghost appearances"/"spirit visitations" and those who claim to channel them).

What does the Bible say about "Psychic mediums" and "ghosts"?

Isaiah 8:19-20

New King James Version (NKJV)
19 And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
("Psychic mediums are seeking the dead, but why not God? Why should the living seek the dead? If they do not speak according to The Word of God, it's because there is no truth in them {demonic entities}.)

What does the Bible say about the children of God and Death?

Luke 20:35-36

King James Version (KJV)

35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

(For him who is worthy of salvation and/or resurrection are seen equally unto the angels {God's company} and can't die anymore as they're the children of God and of the resurrection.)

Revelation 21:4

King James Version (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away.

(very clear; NO MORE DEATH, sorrow, crying, pain, for all these will go away)

God Bless!

Don't Let the Media Steer You Wrong

Don't let any media or Bible dis-informant steer you wrong, the Bible is error proof...all those who have raised up calumny against it have fallen time after time. Look it up, ask your questions and do studies, you will find the answer loud and clear to the exact interpretation the authors left for us. Misinterpretations and dis-information have been getting old and they in working for the adversary also know this. For over 4 thousand years, the word of God is impenetrable, and they will keep getting sat down chair after chair. The word of God is a sword and impenetrable!
...And ALL other "Holy" books fall short of the trajectory...what does that in itself say about the Bible's correctness and unique Theology...

Psalm 18: 31-32 For who is God except the Lord? Or who is the Rock save our God, The God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect?

Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.

Isaiah 49:2 He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Ephesians 6:17-18
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

The Curse and Blessing of the Languages (The Tower of Babel)

God did not just separate the world into many languages for the talent of tongues. Everything Yahweh does has a strategic purpose, and it can be multi-leveled and/or multi-purposed. By splitting the world into languages from the beginning Satan will never be able to get all nations and all of humanity on-board conspiring against Him and His Creation. Also, at the present time when God released this curse He bought time for the people of which believed in God at the time (the fall of the Tower of Babel) to preserve their beliefs from Satan's progress among the populations. So that the language barrier locked-in their faith and as a result making it harder for Satan's efforts to paganize the many cultures, and this way the path for Christianity was helped to be paved.

Remember, God knows and holds the present and the future at the same time and all of the outcomes possible in within each realm of space. God is both omnipotent and omnipresent as described by the Bible His word. Satan also works similarly this way, but one cannot even compare him/it of course.

Isaiah 14:24-27

King James Version (KJV)
24 The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
27 For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Psalm 139:7-12

King James Version (KJV)
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

The Presence of God (Examining the Presence of the LORD)

Many of us wonder what it would be like to be in the presence of God (Yahweh, Jehovah, Elohim) himself the Lord of lords and King of kings, the mystery which we cannot fathom in its origin unless He spoke to us about His own self. Maybe in some distant future that information will be revealed to us, maybe not in our current state of reality. Well, the great news is that the Bible being the only Word of God and inspired by God himself tells us about God's nature when He has been physically present to humanity.
The first questions to pose in examining the presence of God from knowing his power in the scriptures is are we spiritually ready for the presence of God. The second question to follow immediately is could we physically bare his presence, are we also physically fit.
First, I will point-out the key terms about God's presence as described in the Holy scriptures from my studies reading it:
  •  Does not tolerate and despises, and condemns sin; lawlessness, corrupt/immoral human behaviors in His presence
  • Appears to specific parties or persons that meet His sought-out criteria
  • Appears in any form of our natural Earthly elements
  • Interacts in the most intimate ways possible with the party or person (Father figure)
  • Keeps His party or person at a distance (for safety, maybe)
  • Has never taken on human form (chooses to shows His true original state, maybe)
  • May have stopped appearing to humans because we're too far in our human state of impurity (sin) to even bare His presence (maybe a factor)
In the following passage the presence of God appears to Moses:

Exodus 3:3-10

New King James Version (NKJV)

Moses at the Burning Bush (verses 1-10)

Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”

So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”
And he said, “Here I am.”

Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. 10 Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” (God's presence continues until chapter 4, verse 17)

The presence of the Lord is described as a heavy dark cloud:

1 Kings 8:10-13

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Ark Brought into the Temple (verses 1-13)

10 And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord11 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.
12 Then Solomon spoke:
“The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud.
13 I have surely built You an exalted house,

And a place for You to dwell in forever.”

The presence of God is described as fire:

2 Chronicles 7:1

New King James Version (NKJV)

Solomon Dedicates the Temple

When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

The presence of God appears to Ezekiel in the form of fire/bright amber with an upper and lower body (but not a human) on chapter 8:

Ezekiel 8:1-8

New King James Version (NKJV)

Abominations in the Temple

And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house with the elders of Judah sitting before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell upon me there. Then I looked, and there was a likeness, like the appearance of fire—from the appearance of His waist and downward, fire; and from His waist and upward, like the appearance of brightness, like the color of amber. He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my hair; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven, and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which provokes to jealousy. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw in the plain.
Then He said to me, “Son of man, lift your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted my eyes toward the north, and there, north of the altar gate, was this image of jealousy in the entrance.
Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.”So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door. (God's presence continues throughout the remaining of the chapter)

The presence of the LORD is depicted as possibly to have been involving an air transportation vehicle, or perhaps something more complex than one can imagine here in this following passage:

Ezekiel 10:18-22

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Glory Departs from the Temple (verses 1-22)

18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim. 19 And the cherubim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels were beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
20 This is the living creature I saw under the God of Israel by the River Chebar, and I knew they were cherubim. 21 Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. 22 And the likeness of their faces was the same as the faces which I had seen by the River Chebar, their appearance and their persons. They each went straight forward.

In conclusion, God appears only to those that He needs to appear to (need-to-know basis). God must approve/conditions must be met in both the spiritual and physical sense for His Glory to dwell anywhere among our plane of existence. His presence right now on our own times in the timeline of human history would in many ways not fit to us if we see the why's and study the situations back in the times when He was physically appearing to us. God was active in human affairs in the physical sense as it was all according to His plans for humanity of course, and other reasons that we yet haven't been given. No doubt, God is always active in within all that exists in His creation even at this very moment. Although, right now He is in a passive and physically retreated inter-dimensional presence within our physical realm. Perhaps our DNA structure and spiritual make-up have changed in state as not to be able to communicate with God after the sin clock reached a certain stage. It may be that we would only be able to bare Jesus's presence for the time being soon to come. Jesus is precisely fit to interact with humanity being our Savior as we know and have felt through the scriptures and the Holy Spirit.
Moreover, if God were to appear to anyone right now they'd probably faint from His energy and Glory. Maybe even die instantly from various physical  properties being suddenly altered in the surrounding space (maybe). People would know God's physical presence from miles away from the energy alterations (perhaps another possibility). There are some Scientific explanations that can be drawn of course as to why God stopped physically appearing to humanity I'm sure. The scriptures have a lot of Science (and have always had) to dig into coming from the creator of all Science Himself.

Something to note: one must remember that God created us under His own image (Genesis 1:26-27), so if He has appeared to humanity as something other than Human, which has been the case, then we can conclude that our likeness to Him would be more in the spiritual/intelligent sense than in the physical sense.

"The Fountains of the Deep" Discovered! | Creation Moments

"The Fountains of the Deep" Discovered! | Creation Moments: ""THE FOUNTAINS OF THE DEEP" DISCOVERED! (creationmoments.com)

Proverbs 8:27 28
"When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: when he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep."
The Bible mentions "the fountains of the deep" several times. During the Flood, we are told, God opened the fountains of the deep, suggesting seismic activity. When God ended the flooding, we are told that God closed the fountains of the deep, suggesting that they continue to exist, albeit with less water than at creation."...read

The King James Version of 1611

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God's Heavenly Messengers

The Prophecy of John the Baptist in the Old Testament (accepted by some sources of in-depth Biblical studies)

There are several passages within the Old Testament which are interpreted by Christians as being prophetic of John the Baptist in this role. These include a passage in the Book of Malachi 3:1 that refers to a prophet who would prepare the way of the Lord:
"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. — Malachi 3:1

Note: John the Baptist and not John the Apostle (John the Revelator, author of the book of 'Revelation' {or the book of the Apocalypse in some Bible tranlations/Spanish}) was related to Jesus. John the Baptist was the son of Zechariah and Elizabeth (Luke 1:5-25). Jesus was Mary's son, conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:26-38). Mary was Elizabeth's cousin (Luke 1:36). So the relation between Jesus and John the Baptist was that of second cousins.
